Introduction
The Level 3 Diploma in Information Technology is designed to provide learners with a strong foundation in the essential areas of IT, preparing them for further study or entry-level roles in the digital and tech industries. Covering key topics such as computer systems, software development, databases, networking, and cybersecurity. Ideal for aspiring IT professionals, the diploma emphasizes hands-on learning and real-world application, ensuring graduates are ready to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving digital landscape and continue their academic or professional journey in information technology.
Upon graduation, learners will earn:

Program Structure
Mandatory Modules
1. Computer Systems (L/618/6090): 10 UK Credits/5 ECTS Credits
- Understand the basic hardware and software components of computer systems.
- Learn basic installation and configuration of computer systems tailored to user needs.
2. Coding and Website Development (R/618/6091): 10 UK Credits/5 ECTS Credits
- Gain fundamental knowledge of programming and web development processes.
- Develop basic coding skills and create simple websites.
3. Networks (Y/618/6092): 10 UK Credits/5 ECTS Credits
- Understand the principles and architecture of computer networks.
- Learn about the technologies and protocols that facilitate network communication.
4. Mobile Communications (M/618/6096): 10 UK Credits/5 ECTS Credits
- Explore the development of mobile communication technologies and their impact on business and e-commerce.
- Understand the technologies used in mobile communication devices.
5. Cyber Security (T/618/6097): 10 UK Credits/5 ECTS Credits
- Gain insights into the principles of cyber security and the importance of protecting information systems.
- Understand the consequences and vulnerabilities associated with cyber security.
6. Social Media for Business (A/618/6098): 10 UK Credits/5 ECTS Credits
- Learn how businesses utilize social media for promotion and customer engagement.

Assignments
- Complete 6 written assignments (2,000–3,000 words each) based on the module titles.

Professional Certification
During the completion of learning modules, UKeU automated online learning system allows students to take competency assessments to obtain an e-Professional Certificate, which is integrated into the system as an optional feature. Students can request a hard copy if needed. The Professional Certificate provides a detailed record of the competencies the student has achieved.

Entry Requirements
Admission Requirements for Level 3 Foundation Program:
- Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
- Education: Completion of full secondary education is required.
- English Language Proficiency:
- Applicants must demonstrate English language skills equivalent to:
- IELTS: Overall score of 5.5, with Reading and Writing at 5.5.
- CEFR: Level B2.
- Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic): Score of 51.

The program is designed based on a self-study model with automated learning processes, following the STEP framework:
- (S) Self-Study – Independent learning through lectures and instructional videos.
